"The students of Lovin Elementary School in Gwinnett County are capturing food waste from their cafeteria and turning it into valuable soil for their school garden. The partnership that makes this possible is World Wildlife Fund's Food Waste Warriors and Food Well Alliance's Compost Connectors programs brought together by Gwinnett's Green and Healthy Schools."

"Lunchtime at the Lovin Elementary School, a STEAM school in Lawrenceville, Georgia, right outside of Atlanta, is a masterclass in how to properly dispose of food waste. Every day before lunch hour is over, a group of students, known as "Food Waste Warriors," collect leftover food that would otherwise be thrown away for a student-run composting project."
