What is PBIS?

Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS) is a school-wide approach used to create a safe, supportive, and positive learning environment for every student. Instead of focusing solely on consequences when rules are broken, PBIS proactively teaches expected behaviors, highlights positive actions, and provides consistent support so all children can succeed academically and socially.

Vision

The PBIS vision at Lovin Elementary is to create and sustain a nurturing community that models safe and respectful behavior so that each and every student is supported through quality instruction.

Mission 

The PBIS mission at Lovin Elementary is to cultivate a safe school environment that promotes academic excellence and social emotional learning through positive reinforcement for all stakeholders.
